FULL TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MOD OPERAMINI.

APPS NEEDED:
>>BLUE FTP
>>CLASS TRANSLATOR
>>CLASS EDITOR
>>OPERA ZIP 



FIRSTLY: open your opera.zip with blueFTP and extract all it content into a folder. EDITING SERVER OF OPERA 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 Open your class translator locate the folder where the extracted files are open a.class scroll down you will see http://server4.operamini.com:80 click on it and change it to any configuration you want, press option and save it, press option again choose close it will show 'leave spare file' press option 'No' ok then quit.. You have successfully change your server like that.



CHANGING OF OPERA NAME: open your class editor locate the extracted files open META-INF inside it u will see manifest.mf inside it you will see Midlet-name, change it to any name you want.  
Note: we don't change the name of opera4.2labsHandler else u will be getting error.


CHANGING ICON PIC: (the picture you will see before opening your operamini) in the extracted file you will see i.png delete it then copy the picture that you want to use with blueFTP and paste it in the folder where the extracted files are then rename dat your picture to i.png.


CHANGING CONNECTING, INSTALLING, PROCESSING, LOADING CONNECTING: Open your class editor locate V in the extracted file, open it press 9 in the text box enter Connecting then press 2 once to see it use key 4 to scroll to the first letter of the word C press* you will see a red bar behind that C, use key 6 to highlight the word and stop at the last letter of the word G press 5, 3times choose text and enter the new word you want to use in replace(the word must not exceed 10 characters if the new word is not up to 10 you can add space to make it 10 characters) ok it press upper left key and save it. Use the above procedure to edit INSTALLING , PROCESSING, and LOADING too. There are two loading in V so edit the both. NOTE: Installing & Processing are 10 letters. Loading is 7 letters.

CHANGING LOADING BAR: (the red line you see when installing or opening your operamini) The default color is RED (the hex value is ACI614) to change it get the hex value of another color that you want to use, then open your class editor locate extracted files open f.class then press 0 the page will divide into two, press 7 in the hex box enter 3575 look at the left side of the screen den press 6 once you will see AC1614 in hex two characters can b change at once, scroll to AC press 5 3times choose HEX clear that AC and replace it with the first 2 of the new hex, repeat the procedure to change all the hex. Press upper left key and save it.


CHANGING WELCOME PAGE: (the page that it will show when installing your opera before accept) open your class editor locate the extracted files open v, scroll down with key 8 you will see http://www.operamini.com/ firsttime/4.2/ scrol to that first w den press * press 6 to highlight the link and stop at the (/) after 4.2 eg: | www.operamini.com/ firsttime/4.2/ | press 5 3times choose text then enter the new link that you want to use (that link is 32 characters and the new link must also be 32 characters but if the link is not up to 32 characters add spaces at the back of the link to make it 32) eg: www.mrwash.wapka.mobi........... (i added 15 spaces at the back to make it 32 characters Note: the (.) represent space. press upper left key and save it. HANGING USER AGENT (i.e browser detail) For opera 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 mod, open class translator locate f.class For opera 4.2 Handler, open class translator locate HandlerUI.class change the detail there to what you like, then click options, choose save, press options again choose NO then ok it. Press options again choose close.


HOW TO PACK THE OPERA MINI: Now to pack your operamini, open your blueFTP locate the folder where the extracted files are open it then press menu select all it will highlight all press menu again 'choose compress to zip' give it any name.zip eg: mini.zip ok continue pressing yes until you finally see compress completed, now rename your opera from .zip to _jar eg: mini.zip to mini_jar quit your blueFTP go to your applications locate the operamini then rename it 4rm _jar to .jar eg: mini_jar to mini.jar dats all.
