WHATSAPP TO ADD VOICE MESSAGING IN NEXT UPDATE.

One of the world's leading chat apps, Whatspp has rolled out a new feature to help its users send voice messages to recipients.

Although this is not a perfectly new feature as it is already in use on various chatting apps, even on Whatsapp itself, however, it is prominently placed in the UI with the latest update meaning we are sure of it now.

Now, when you launch the app, you see a microphone icon instead of a send icon as long as no text is present or rather, has been typed in the message box.

To use, press and hold this button and your message starts getting recorded. Slide left any time to cancel the recording.

The microphone icon remains blue until when the message has been delivered which turns green signifying your voice message has reached the recipient.

Previously, you had to click on the attachment option and choose the audio option to send a voice message but the latest update makes the process much simpler.

Every other things remains the same as your messages get downloaded automatically.

The updated version is now rolling out across platforms and should be available for your region shortly.

If you are a fan of voice messaging, this is definitely for you.
